How do I translate and edit video captions on Workplace?

You can add captions to videos when they have been uploaded or once you have finished a live broadcast from your computer.
Translating Captions
To translate captions:
  1. Go to the video you would like to translate captions for.
  2. Click in the top right of the video.
  3. Select Manage video captions.
  4. Click Auto generate captions.
  5. Select the language you'd like captions to appear in from the dropdown menu and click Done.
English captions can be automatically translated into Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Each caption can be edited independently.
Editing Captions
To edit captions:
  1. Go to the video you would like to edit captions for.
  2. Click in the top right of the video.
  3. Click Manage video and select Edit captions.
  4. Click Auto-generated captions.
  5. Click next to the language you'd like to edit the captions for.
  6. Once you have made your edits, click Save.
When editing captions, you can click next to the box that says Only show words to review. This will enable you to check any transcript errors that may have automatically been surfaced for your attention.
